Joel Worrall - Tango the gifted Llama

In April of 2003, I started Java Brewery as an independent consulting firm. I did work for corporations as large and Comcast and as small as XIF. In 2006, I stepped aside from the Java Brewery to lead the engineering department at a company called Knowledgeplanet which then became Mzinga. In 2009, I began to reengage the consulting practice in an adhoc fashion, and in October of 2009, I left my position at Mzinga as the VP of Engineering to take a senior position at CURE International as their VP of Technology Development. At the same time, I’m reengaging my practice with Java Brewery.

I’ve recently done a great deal of technology evaluations and software architecture for small-to-medium sized organizations (for-profit and non-profit) as well as the occasional architecture evaluation and roadmap planning consulting service. I’m currently engaged with a handful of clients, and I’m looking for some big announcements to occur in the near future regarding partnerships between Java Brewery and other small software start-ups. Sometime in 2010, I’m hoping to launch the first product service of Java Brewery, a joint venture code-named Batch 001.

If you’re interested in more information on my skills and experience, see the Resume section. Assuming we can line up the time and opportunity, I’d be glad to speak with you about your technology needs.

Cheers,
